Leaders from the Group of Seven and the European Union, along with officials from Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Egypt, are holding a roundtable at the G7 summit in Evian, France on Tuesday.

The session, titled “Addressing crises and ensuring stability in the Middle East,” is part of wider discussions at the summit that also include economic growth strategies and governance of artificial intelligence. Later sessions are expected to focus on regional developments in the Middle East as well as coordination on global economic policy among major industrialised economies.
