Future Industrial Development : Meeting with engineering students

Union Minister for Industry and MSME Development Dr. Charlie Than met with engineering students at Yangon Technological University on Thursday.

The meeting aims to encourage young people to take part in the development of Myanmar’s industrial sector and MSMEs. The Union Minister said the ministry aims to train young engineers from their student years and connect them with future career opportunities.

Students may receive education support and have opportunities to join the ministry after graduation, with career advancement based on qualifications and service. He also highlighted the important role of MSMEs in creating jobs and supporting local development by using local resources. He urged future engineers to apply modern technology and focus on the Green Economy, Circular Economy and sustainable development.
