Fuel Import and Distribution: Four more ships carrying fuel oil to arrive soon

4 ships carrying over 70,000 tons of fuel have arrived at the port in Yangon at the moment, according to Myanmar Petroleum Trade Association (MPTA).

The association added that four more ships carrying the fuel oil will arrive very soon, for the convenience of the consumers.

At present, the fuel distribution has been carried out by the supervision of the Petroleum Products Regulatory Department (PPRD).

Myanmar Petroleum Trade Association, Responsible Person said "4 ships carrying 72,800 tons of fuel have arrived at the port, and it is being unloaded currently. 4 more ships will arrive soon. Please acknowledge us if there is any necessity of fuel oil, so that the association can help them connect with the importers for more convenience. Currently, the fuel oil is being sold to the respective markets with the fixed price under the supervision of the Petroleum Products Regulatory Department (PPRD). We will also cooperate with the markets."

According to the daily fuel price released by the Supervisory Committee on Import, Storage and Distribution of Fuel Oil, the wholesale price for 92 Ron is over 2,100 kyats per liter, over 2,200 kyats for 95 Ron while over 2,000 kyats for HSD respectively on the May 22nd.
