Food items in affordable price : Mon State CM observed sale of basic food items

Under the implementation of the Mon State Government, essential food items are being sold to the public at the affordable prices.

On the morning of June 4th, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, along with state ministers and responsible officials, visited Mawlamyaing University and the Government Technical Institute (Mawlamyaing) to observe and show support for the initiative.

They inspected the sale of rice, cooking oil, meat, fish, eggs, and vegetables being offered at reasonable prices by producers and distributors, including farmers, livestock breeders, manufacturers, rice mill and oil mill owners, and merchants. They also met with responsible officials to coordinate and address necessary matters.

Following that, the Chief Minister toured and observed teachers, staff, their families, and boarding students peacefully and happily purchasing basic food items.
