FM Shaibani meets with Lebanon President Aoun in Beirut

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani met with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun in Beirut on Thursday. During his official visit, Shaibani is expected to meet several senior Lebanese officials, as well as political and religious leaders, according to private broadcaster Syria TV. The visit comes as Damascus seeks to open a new chapter in Syrian-Lebanese relations and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
