Fisheries Industry: Land and related equipment to be leased

To build the cold storage factory for fish and shrimp production activities, 2.75 acres of land and related equipment which is located in Insein Township Yangon Region will be leased through the BOT system, according to an official of Department of Fisheries.

Nyunt Khin, Director, Department of Fisheries said "Our country needs fish and shrimp production businesses. For that, the land and related equipment which is located in Insein Township will be leased for long term through the BOT system. The details of the rules are set and included in the tender form. Those who are interested need to present their technology and prices on the tender form. A tender form costs 10,000 kyats and they must pay a deposit of 5 million kyats as a payment order at the Myanmar Economic Bank (Nay Pyi Taw)."

The tender form deadline is the 16th of February and the tender will be opened on the 23rd of February at the Office No. 36 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Nay Pyi Taw.
