First white Bengal tiger born in Nicaragua

A white Bengal tiger cub is the latest attraction at Nicaragua's National Zoo. The cub was born in captivity on December 29, weighing 960 grams, and is in good health, according to the Nicaragua's National Zoo director. The cub was be seen enjoying its new surroundings, closely watched by its mother. The female Bengal called Nieves (Snow) is the daughter of a yellow Bengal Tiger with a white maternal ancestor.
