FIFA Legends play friendly match with workers in Qatar

Former top soccer players such as Brazil’s Cafu, Portugal’s Nuno Gomes, Italian Del Piero and others took to the pitch during a World Cup encounter in Qatar on Monday – but this time no trophies were at stake, just fun.

The so-called FIFA Legends took part in a friendly match with Qatar-based workers in the Al Thumama stadium in Doha. Even FIFA President Gianni Infantino took on a new role, as he dressed up as a referee and distributed yellow cards. According to organizers, over 5,000 people attended the match.
