Ethnic Affairs : Meeting with cultural associations and ethnic entrepreneurs

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Than Maung met with Ethnic Literature and Culture Associations and Tanintharyi Region Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association members in Dawei on Friday.

The Union Minister discussed matters on registration process, preserving the origin of traditional attires, and extended opening of branch offices. He also stressed the importance of prevailing peace in the region for implementation of development works, and called for cooperation of ethnic communities.

The meeting discussed matters on ethnic affairs and development works as well as creating opportunities for ethnic entrepreneurs in Dawei Special Economic Zone.
