Esports World Championship : YG face with Russia's TS in the EWC Grand Final

Myanmar's Yangon Galacticos (YG) face with Russia's Team Spirit in the grand final of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026.

Yangon Galacticos advanced to the championship match by defeating the Philippines' Falcons PH 3-2 in the semifinal. Team Spirit booked their place in the final after overcoming Indonesia's ONIC.

Ahead of the grand final in Paris on August 1, KBZPay announced an additional reward of 300 million kyats for Yangon Galacticos in recognition of the team's achievement in reaching the final.

The latest reward comes after the company previously pledged 200 million kyats when YG qualified for the semifinals.

It is learnt that 50 percent of the reward will be awarded directly to Yangon Galacticos, while the remaining 50 percent will be used jointly by the Myanmar Esports Federation and the team to support the development of Myanmar's esports ecosystem and create opportunities for the next generation of players.

Yangon Galacticos are now one victory away from becoming EWC 2026 MLBB champions, marking a historic opportunity for both the team and Myanmar esports.
