







Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Win Than, accompanied by state ministers and responsible officials, inspected a collective public clean-up activities conducted Saturday morning by departmental personnel, members of the Myanmar Police Force, the Fire Services Department, and local residents.
The activities took place in Nyaung Pin Seik Ward, Mawlamyine, at the Government Technical Institute (Mawlamyine), and along the Mawlamyine–Hpa-An Highway in front of the industrial zone. Participants carried out the clearing of overgrown bushes and undergrowth, collected and disposed of garbage, and trimmed trees and branches.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister met with the responsible officials, encouraged those taking part in the activities, and coordinated the necessary arrangements to support the work.
Later that morning, Chief Minister, together with state ministers and responsible officials, visited people’s military service trainees from Mon State who had arrived at the local training school in Mawlamyine to attend People’s Military Service Training Batch No. 27 (7/2026).
The Chief Minister delivered words of encouragement and addressed the trainees. Afterwards, honorary cash awards and uniforms were presented to the trainees and warmly greeted each trainee individually and offered words of encouragement.
