Erdogan receives EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas in Ankara

Türkiye President Erdogan received European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas and her delegation at the Presidential Complex in Ankara on Tuesday. The closed-door meeting focused on Türkiye-EU relations, with senior Turkish officials also in attendance.

The sides are also expected to discuss shared challenges in an increasingly unstable geopolitical environment and explore new areas of cooperation, it said. The visit comes in the final days of Greek Cyprus’ rotating presidency of the Council of the EU, which ends on June 30.
