Employment and Skill Development: Central Committee held coordination meeting

The Central Committee on Employment and Skill Development held its coordination meeting on Friday.

Chairman of the Central Committee Union Minister for Labour U Myint Kyaing discussed that efforts are being made for development of economy by boosting production while creating more job opportunities and better working environ with the tripartite cooperation of the Government, employers and employees.

Myanmar is one of the most populous countries in the ASEAN region, and the country has good human resources for development of the nation. He called for harmonious efforts of the tripartite group of government, employers and employees for providing knowledge on professional and start-up businesses.

The attendees later made discussions on work undertakings, establishment of Test Item Database, budget allocation, standardization, drafting bylaws, and skill assessment process.
