Electricity and Energy: Meeting with the Thai Minister of Energy

Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Ko Ko Lwin, who  accompanied the President U Min Aung Hlaing’s Thailand visit, met with Mr. Akanat Promphan, Minister of Energy of Thailand on August 6th.

The meeting focused on signing of Memoranda of Understanding on energy sector and boosting investment of Thai companies in Myanmar Natural Gas Projects. They cordially exchanged views on stronger Myanmar electricity production network and expanding production network. After the meeting, the Union Minister cordially greeted Thai Minister of Energy and members and provided investment opportunities on electricity and energy sector in Myanmar.
