At the Sub-Basic Education Middle School of Nyaung Chaung Lay Village, over 350 students from nearby 4 villages are studying from KG to Grade-8 under 12 teachers. The headmistress stressed the needs of school buildings and facilities for the students.

Headmistress, Sub-Basic Education Middle School (Nyaung Chaung Lay Village), Nant Win Maw said “The school doesn’t have enough buildings, facilities or furniture. Also, there were not enough latrines - so boys had to go latrines in the jungle. Now there are latrines, hand washing facilities and water supply with the support Lien AID.  We don’t need to worry about our health. We also notify about the school health to the students.”
