Efforts for Kayah State: Chief Minister Inspects Development Works

Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw inspected the Station Hospital in Loilemlay Township on July 30. During the visit, the State Public Health Director briefed him on the preparations underway to reopen the health facility and the deployment status of the staff.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to expedite the arrangements for reopening the station hospital as quickly as possible and called on local residents to cooperate in the effort, while coordinating to meet necessary requirements. Next, he inspected the road paving and concrete drainage construction projects in the township and stressed the importance of completion of the projects on time and in accordance with the specified quality standards.

Afterward, the Chief Minister inspected the construction of the village-connecting road between ThaByayKone and LwelHtwel villages in NwarLaWoe Village Tract of Loikaw Township, and provided the necessary instructions. Continuing his inspection, the Chief Minister examined agricultural operations in the same village tract.

He instructed officials to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers, consistently carry out farmer educational programs, and expand the cultivation of sunflower as an oilseed crop. Finally, the Chief Minister visited the NwarLaWoe နွားလဝိုး Reservoir to inspect the repair work on the sluice gate structure and instructed the relevant officials to ensure systematic water storage and management for efficient agricultural water distribution.
