Efforts for Education Sector : Shan State CM Attends School Building Opening

Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe attended the opening and handover ceremony of the new school building at No. (2) Pre-School (Taunggyi) on July 31.

The Chief Minister opened the school signboard by pressing a switch button and sprinkled scented water over the commemorative plaque. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister stated that opening the pre-school will harmoniously develop children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social abilities, significantly aiding their holistic development.

He added that children will gain enhanced social skills, learning how to cooperate, share, observe discipline, and practice mutual respects. Following this, the Vice Chairperson of the Kanbawza Foundation explained the background of the building donation and handed over the structure. Afterward, children performed traditional dances, and the Chief Minister and accompanying officials toured the new school building and distributed snacks to the preschool children.
