Efforts for Education: Kayah State Chief Minister makes inspections

As part of the Kayah State Government's ongoing efforts to develop the state's education sector, State Chief Minister U Ant Maw visited the Basic Education High Sub-School (Htay Ngahr Lyahr) on August 21.

During his visit, he inspected the construction of a new school building and a library, instructing officials to ensure the projects meet quality standards, complete on schedule, and prioritize cleanliness within the school compound. To help supplement the students' physical and mental development, the Chief Minister led students and teachers in planting 1,384 banana trees within the school grounds.

Afterward, the Chief Minister visited the Basic Education High Sub-School (Chikai), where he inspected the construction of a library and the renovation of a school building, providing necessary guidance. Following this, the Chief Minister visited Chikal Kandrawaddy Monastery, where he observed mobile healthcare services provided by the State Public Health Department, dengue fever prevention and control activities, and the distribution of information pamphlets. It is reported that he also presented long-lasting insecticidal nets and basic food items.
