Effort for Easy Communication : Satellite terminals and communications vehicle installed

To ensure communication coverage in Laymyethna  Township, operations are currently underway under the leadership of the Regional Manager of Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT) for the Ayeyawady Region, guided by MPT under the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications.

Two sets of B2B satellite terminals sent from MPT Headquarters are being installed and one set at the relief camp in Sitskwin Monastery, Saryaykwin  Village Tract, one set in Seiknokone Village, Thakhutchaung  Village Tract, Laymyethna Township. Additionally, the Cell on Wheel (COW) mobile communications vehicle from MPT under the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications arrived in Hinthada Township at 7:00 PM on August 3.

Arrangements are being made to install it at the Relief Command Office in Saryaykwin  Village by 8:00 AM on August 4 to restore connectivity as quickly as possible. Once the mobile vehicle setup is complete, MPT mobile telephone services are expected to be restored within approximately a 1.5-mile radius of the vehicle, it’s reported.
