Effective Training for SEA Games: Trainings of selected Myanmar Sports Teams in NPT

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan together with officials looked into trainings of selected Myanmar sports teams of judo, taekwondo, Wushu (Sanso) and Vovinam who are camping in Nay Pyi Taw to participate in the 31st Southeast Asian Games to be hosted by Viet Nam from 12th to 23rd  May 2022.

They met with coaches and athletes in the respective sports events. During the inspection, the Union Minister said that as the motto, "Health is the first, discipline is the second and record is the third", the athletes needs to have special care to improve their health and prevent injury during training times.

He also stressed on following COVID-19 rules and regulations in trainings and need to train hard for effective training. As the Ministry hopes to win the award, athletes need to pay special attention to have better health. If there are difficulties in training, living, food and health matters, it needs to be submitted to officials and assistance will be provided in a timely manner.
