





A ceremony to distribute school uniforms, stationery, and cash assistances to students from civil servant families who will attend higher education institutions and basic education schools in the 2025–2026 academic year, as well as to civil servants currently pursuing postgraduate and distance education programs, was held in Meeting Hall (2) of the Kayah State Government office, Loikaw in the morning on May 28.
At the event, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin delivered the opening remarks. He emphasized the importance of enrolling all school-aged children in school and called on parents to ensure their children grow up to be well-rounded and virtuous individuals through systematic education from a young age. He also encouraged civil servants to diligently and enthusiastically carry out the responsibilities entrusted to them.
Following his speech, the Chief Minister presented cash assistances to the civil servants enrolled in postgraduate and distance learning programs. Additionally, he distributed school uniforms, stationery, and cash to the children of civil servants who will be studying at the primary, middle, and high school levels. Both students and civil servants received their items individually.
Subsequently, members of the State Government also handed over school uniforms, stationery, and cash assistance to representatives on behalf of students from civil servant families who are attending university, as well as those studying at primary, middle, and high school levels.
Finally, the Director of the State Government Office expressed gratitude for the support provided, and the Chief Minister personally greeted and encouraged the attending civil servants and students.
