Education Promotion: Provisions of school stipend for students

The Ministry of Border Affairs provided academic stipend, school uniform and exercise books to the basic education, university and college students of the staff families. Member of the State Administration Council, Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and wife attended the ceremony, held at the Ministry on June 7th.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister pledged for annually provision of stipend to the students of staff families urging all to nurture the habit of reading books for expanding their scope of knowledge while pursuing school lessons to become reliable citizens for the country. He also stressed the vital role of parents in shaping their children to become educated person with good personality.

Then, the Union Minister and concerned officials provided stipend, uniforms and exercise books to over 1,500 students for 2025-2026 Academic Year.
