Ecosystem Conservation: MoBA Holds Tree-Planting, Fingerling-Adding Ceremonies

Ministry of Border Affairs held the monsoon tree-planting and fingerling-adding ceremonies on Wednesday. During the monsoon tree-planting at the sub-basic education high school (BoYway) in Ottarathiri Township, Union Minister Lt-Gen TunTunNaung gave a speech, and the Union Minister and many other officials as well as the ministry’s staff planted 205 shady trees.

There, the Union Minister handed over a water purifier machine and cleaning aid donated by his ministry. Also, the Union Minister and many other officials as well as the ministry’s staff added 20,000 fingerlings to the ShoPeit Dam near the Ministry.
