Drugs Seized: Over 300 Million Kyats Worth Stimulant Tablets Seized

The stimulant tablets worth over 300 million Kyats were seized in Moe Hnyin (မိုးညှင်း) Township, Kachin State, according to the source of Myanmar police Force.

The combined force including the members of Anti-Narcotics Task Force made a stop of a HINO Truck motor vehicle driven by Myo Min Htut assisted by Sai Aik Pee from Mandalay to Myitkyina at 2 p.m. on June 5th at Nant See Aung combined check point, Moe Hnyin (မိုးညှင်း) Township, Kachin State and was inspected the vehicle and arrested 201,000 stimulant tablets worth over 300 million Kyats in regional current price.

According to the investigation, As it’s revealed that the seized stimulant tablets were carried from Kyaukme Township, Shan State (North) to Hpakant Township, Kachin State, the suspects have been arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law and the investigation is underway to reveal the chain of accomplices, it’s learnt.
