Drugs Destroyed: Seized Drugs And Precursor Chemicals And Related Materials Destroyed

The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which falls on 26th June, the event of the destroying narcotic drugs including opium, Heroin, stimulant tablets, ICE, precursors chemical and related materials seized in Yangon Region, Ayeyar Region, Rakhine State and the regions of lower Myanmar was conducted at the cargo trucks yard, Hlaingthaya Township, Yangon Region in line with the instructions regarding Covid-19 preventive measures issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports.

The Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Phyo Min Thein delivered an opening remark at the event. The seized drugs worth over 144 million USD equivalents to 208.87 billion Kyats were set on fire during the event…Similarly, during the event of the destroying narcotic drugs, precursor chemical and related materials in Lashio, Northern Shan State by welcoming the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which falls on 26th June, 14 types of drugs worth over 420 million USD equivalent to 608.948 billion Kyats were set on fire.

Present at the event were the commander of North-East Command Major General Aung Zaw Aye, Shan State minister for region development U Sai Nun Sai and officials. The event of the destroying narcotic drugs, precursor chemical and related materials is also conducted in Mandalay and Taunggyi on the same day, it’s learnt…

The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which falls on 26th June, the event of the destroying narcotic drugs including opium, Heroin, stimulant tablets, ICE, precursors chemical and related materials seized in Mandalay Region, Sagaing Region, Kachin State and the regions of upper Myanmar was conducted at the Shwemantaung playground, Aung Myay Than Zan Township, Mandalay  Region in line with the instructions regarding Covid-19 preventive measures issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports.

The Chief Minister of Mandalay Region Dr. Zaw Myint Maung and officials attended the event. The seized drugs worth over 40 million USD equivalents to 59.13 billion Kyats were set on fire during the event…The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which falls on 26th June, the event of the destroying seized drugs, precursors chemicals and related materials seized in Shan State and Kayah State was conducted at the AhWayYar ground, Taunggyi Township, Shan State in line with the instructions regarding Covid-19 preventive measures issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports.

The Chief Minister of Shan State Dr. Lin Hutu and officials attended the event. The seized drugs worth over 232 million USD equivalents to 337.385 billion Kyats were set on fire during the event.
