Drug Seizure: ICE worth 20 billion kyats seized in Mogok

ICE (Methamphetamine) worth 20 billion kyats were seized in Mogok, according to Myanmar Police Force. According to the information, a combined team comprising Anti-narcotic drugs unit forced to stop a Nissan car driving from Mine Lon to Mogok at the Lae Gyi inspection gate in Mogok of Mandalay region on 1st March for the inspection.

While inspecting, the driver Wai Thu ran away and police arrested his follower Aye Naing @ Soe Myint Naing together with 1-ton of ICE (Methamphetamine) worth 20 billion kyats. These ICE were transportd to Mandalay region from Shan State (North). Action is being taken againts the suspect and those who involve in the crime are under investigation.
