Drug Incident: Narcotics Seized In Ywa Ngan, Muse, Amarapura And Pinlaung

Members of Anti-Narcotic Drugs Squad seized 217 kilos of ICE and over 1.67 million of stimulant tablets with WY brand putting in the plastic bags while inspecting a 12-wheel  Isuzu vehicle driven by Maung Maung Lwin @ Myint Zaw Lwin on Ywa Ngan-Kyaukse motor road in Ywa Ngan Township, Taunggyi District on Sunday.

Likewise, police confiscated 15,000 stimulant pills with WY brand while checking a vehicle driven by Yan Chain Lon @ Arr Lon  on Pansai (Kyu Koke)-Muse motor road in Muse township on the same day.

Meanwhile, police arrested a suspect together with 9.9 kilos of heroin and 12,000 stimulant tablets hidden in 1,100 soap cases on Myit Nge-Sagaing motor road in Amarapura Township.

Police also checked a Mitsubishi car driven by Kyar Thein on Pinlaung-Phe Kon road in Pinlaung Townships and seized 501 kilos of raw opium and arrested the suspect on the same day, according to the information released by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
