Drafting the National Land Law: Work Committee meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung presided over the 10th work coordination meeting of the Work Committee on Drafting the National Land Law and Harmonization of Related Laws in his capacity as Chairman (1) of the committee on May 30th.

The meeting was also attended by Chairman (2) of the committee Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi, members of National Land Law Drafting Committee, Chairmen of the supporting committees and leaders of sub-groups.

At the meeting, the Chairmen (1) and (2) called for the meticulous discussions on finalizing national land law and matters to present to National Land Utilization Council. Then, the secretary of the committee made clarifications on further work implementations of the committee. After making sector-wise discussions, the initial approval was made for the draft of National Land Law.
