Donation of Rice Bags : 500 bags of rice donated to flood-affected residents

Led by Speaker of Yangon Region Hluttaw, U Htay Aung, along with Yangon Region Hluttaw representatives and benevolent donors, 500 bags of rice were donated to flood-affected residents in Ayeyarwady Region.

At the donation ceremony, Yangon Region Hluttaw Speaker U Htay Aung explained the purpose of donating the rice bags and handed over the 500 rice bags to Ayeyarwady Region Chief Minister U Aye Kyaw. The Chief Minister then presented certificates of honor in return and expressed words of gratitude.

Subsequently, the Speaker, Hluttaw representatives, and benevolent donors visited temporary flood evacuation shelters along the way back from Ayeyarwady Region and provided additional cash donations and support, it’s learnt.
