Donation of Relief Items: MIFER Union Minister accepted donation of relief items

Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, Mr. Zhao You Jun, along with company officials, donated a total of 11 types of essential relief items, including consumer goods and medicines, to the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations in Nay Pyi Taw on May 28, for the benefit of ministry staff affected by the Mandalay earthquake.

Union Minister Dr. Kan Zaw expressed gratitude for the donation, stating that nearly 80% of the ministry’s staff currently working in Nay Pyi Taw were affected by the earthquake. He also highlighted the pressing needs of the affected staff, including temporary shelters, mosquito nets, medicines, water purification equipment, and related supplies.

Following this, the Union Minister, Deputy Minister, Directors General, and officials formally accepted the relief supplies donated by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. A certificate of appreciation was also presented to Mr. Zhao You Jun, CEO of the company.
