Donation for Quake-Hit Victims: Phyu Mahasi Sayadaw and his devotees donated supplies

The Phyu Mahasi Sayadaw Dr. Baddanta Aggavara and his devotees from home and abroad donated 1 million Kyats of cash to provide necessary assistance for the Mandalay earthquake affected people and foods and consumer goods worth 6.7 million Kyats at the office of Disaster Management Center under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in the afternoon on May 21.

The Union Minister Dr. Soe Win accepted the donations, extended words of gratitude and returned the certificate of honor.
