Donation Ceremony : Assistance for flood victims in Ye-U

Due to the torrential rain, Muu River has surged since August 6, and residential wards along the river bank were inundated. A donation ceremony for flood victims was held at the Shwenadi Hall of Ye Oo General Administration Department in Sagain Region on Thursday.

  Supported by Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief & Resettlement, over 5.1 million kyat were provided to the affected civilians and three damaged households. In addition, the total of 500,000 kyats were presented to five relief shelters and cash awards for social organizations and volunteers.
