Development Works: Sagaing Region Chief Minister makes inspections

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Ko Lay met with cotton farmers in Nat Kharine Village, Sagaing Township on August 13.

During the meeting, he discussed expanding cotton cultivation and the systematic use of fertilizers, stating that the regional government would coordinate with relevant departments to assist cotton farmers in securing irrigation water, agricultural fuel, fertilizers, and technical assistance.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister inspected the flourishing cotton demonstration plots and provided necessary coordination to meet their needs. Subsequently, the Chief Minister inspected a yarn mill in the Sagaing Industrial Zone, instructing responsible personnel to maintain high-quality production and distribute the goods to the domestic market, while coordinating and fulfilling necessary requirements.

Also, he inspected the construction of staff housing in Nan Oo Myothit Ward, instructed officials to ensure quality standards were met and toured the construction site of the staff housing buildings. And, the Chief Minister inspected the construction of the Sagaing District Information and Public Relations Department office.
