Development Works: Construction of Infrastructures in Gwa Township Inspected

Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr Aung Kyaw Min, together with the officials, inspected the development works in Gwa Township on January 28th.

At the construction site of Gwa Township Hall, the Chief Minister heard reports on the work progress, and instructed for timely completion of the work, meeting the set standards and worksite safety. Construction of the Township Hall has been commenced in June last year, with 300 million kyats allotted budget of the State Government for 2020-2021 fiscal year.

The Chief Minister and party later inspected the construction of Gwa Chaung Bridge on Gwa-KyaukChun Road. After hearing the reports on progress of bridge construction and future plans, the Chief Minister inspected the construction site. Later in the day, the Chief Minister and party met with departmental personnel and local people.

The Chief Minister discussed the measures being carried out for socio-economic development, tourism promotion, regional stability and rule of law. Officials reported on distribution of fertilizer, construction of rural houses and development works. The sports gears were also provided for the local residents.
