Development Of Regional Economy: Moali Union Minister Meets DKBA Delegation

For the development of the region, the economy of the people needs to be good. If the economy is good, the living standard of the people will raise and it will make easier to overcome other difficulties.
That’s why, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation is making efforts to develop along the production chain based on agriculture, which is the main economy of the country. It was said by Union Minister U Tin HtutOo at the meeting with the Democratic Karen Benevolent Army (DKBA) delegation for the local economic development based on agriculture and livestock in Nay Pyi Taw on 22nd June.
At the meeting, the Union Minister also added that the necessary technical assistance will be provided for cultivation and production of marketable value-added fruits, fish and animal breeding and corn cultivation and producing as well as the rights for land use, getting strains and technical assistance for season crops and fruits in addition to plain land coffee and perennial crops.
The Union Minister then presented vegetable seeds and farm equipment as the gift to the DKBA delegation. Officials also discussed the Ministry’s assistance for regional development and extension of agriculture and breeding tasks.
