Development for cooperative society: MoCRD to provide loan to cooperative society members

Union Minister U Hla Moe held a meeting with local farmers, and cooperative society members from Taungsun and West Daungyap villages at Munaing Village Hall in Chaungzon Township Sunday morning.

At the meeting, the Union Minister made the remarks that the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development will provide loans to the cooperative society members as well as rice farmers for the socio-economic development of the rural people. Ministry is concerned about the problems of rice cooperative societies and rice farmers and assisting their needs as much as possible.

Any business needs to be constantly monitored. Farmers will also be able to form new cooperative societies to benefit those who actually do business.

In the morning, the Union Minister and party visited the Weaving and Vocational Training School in Mudon Township. Afterwards, the Minister and party met with local people and members of the Green Emerald Project and discussed agriculture, livestock and trade activities are monitored.

Then, he went to Thanban Village, Hlaingbwe Township and provided fertilizers to the cooperative society member farmers and fulfilled their needs.
