Departmental Annual Implementation: Ministry of Science and Technology holds seminar

The Ministry of Science and Technology held a seminar on the Departmental Annual Implementation Plan-DAIP that is a work plan to implement the Science, Technology and Innovation Strategic Plan (2022-027) on Friday.

In his opening address, Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw said that by designing and implementing the DAIP, the work programs to be implemented during the financial year will be vividly seen and can be reviewed continuously.

It will support to systematically implement the actual implementations by connecting with the financing. That’s why, it is necessary to draft based on the actual implementations in drafting the plan.

The Union Minister continued to say that by implementing the target results by the departments according to the financial year, the goal will be reached and it will greatly support to the socio-economic development of the country.

Later, official reported on the summary of the Strategic Plan (2022-2027) assessment framework and the facts. After that, Deputy Minister Dr Aung Zeya discussed that the Departments, Universities, colleges, Institutes and schools needs to carry out effective work programs in implementing DAIP and gave suggestions to meet the set results and index.

Union Minister, the Deputy Minister, the permanent secretary, Director Generals and officials took part in the discussion in person and online.
