Cycling Competitions: Competitions Will Be Held Till 9 January In Nay Pyi Taw

With the aim to improve sports standards in Myanmar, the 2019-2020 Region/State Cycling Competitions kicked off in front of the Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw, Tuesday.

It was jointly organized by the Sports and Physical Education Department of the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Myanmar Cycling Federation. The competitions included the women’s 500-m event, men’s 1,000-m event, men’s 9-km event, and men’s 15-km event.

The cycling competitions will be held till 9 January. A total of 87 cyclists, 59 men and 28 women, with 11 Region/State competition teams, 11 men’s teams and 7 women’s teams are taking part in the competitions.
