Cuba reforms open doors for Vietnamese investors

Viet Nam's experience in economic renovation and international integration is being increasingly valued by the Caribbean nation.

From successful rice cultivation projects to emerging investment opportunities, the long-standing friendship between the two countries is translating into practical drivers of development.  Earlier this month, representatives of the Vietnamese agricultural company AgriVMA handed over 1,200 tonnes of rice produced in Cuba to local authorities.

The delivery was carried out under an agreement between Viet Nam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and Cuba’s Ministry of Agriculture, signed during Party General Secretary and State President Tô Lâm’s visit to Cuba in September 2024.
