COVID-19 Update: One New Case Found Positive, Total Numbers Reached 182

One new case of COVID-19 found on 16th May as a lab results of the National Health Laboratory (Yangon).

The NHL tested 167 lab specimens as the third batch in the early morning and the lab specimen of the person under quarantine from Htantalan was found positive. It is learnt that he was returned from Malaysia, and have no contact with the confirmed patients.

As of 7:00 am on 16th May, there are 182 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar with 6 deaths and 89 recoveries. Among the recovered patients, 74 have already discharged from the hospital and they are under quarantine.
