
Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Friday reported no new COVID-19 case after testing 688 lab specimens as the second batch. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have remained at 304 with 6 deaths. While 223 patients have recovered from the disease, 216 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.
The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, Russian Federation, India, the United Kingdom, Peru, Chile, Spain, Italy, Islamist Republic of Iran, Mexico and Pakistan according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 3:05pm CEST on 2nd July, there have been over 10.533 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 512,842 deaths, reported to WHO.
Meanwhile, famous Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Champion Aung La Nsang or Burmese Python who live in the US has tested COVID-19 positive. Aung La Nsang wrote on his Facebook post that he got tested for covid-19 on Monday.
The result came back on Thursday and was positive. So, his family and he will be quarantining themselves for the next 14 days. He added that he had a slight fever, congestion, body ache and fatigue on the first two days.
Besides that he is blessed that his whole family is doing well. He wrote that they are really in this together and they will get over this.
