
Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday reported one new COVID-19 case after testing 966 lab specimens as the second batch.
The new confirmed patient is a returnee from Bangladesh. He is a resident of Maungtaw Township of Rakhine State. COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 291 with 6 deaths.
While 200 patients have recovered from the disease, 186 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.
