Covid-19 Update: Ministry Reports No New Covid-19 Cases At 8:00 A.M. On 22th June

Ministry of Health and Sports at 8:00 a.m. on Monday reported no new COVID-19 case after testing 761 lab specimens as the second batch.

COVID-19 cases in Myanmar have now reached 290 with 6 deaths. While 200 patients have recovered from the disease, 183 of them have been discharged from the hospitals and put under quarantine.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America, Brazil, Russian Federation, India, the United Kingdom, Spain, Peru, Italy, Chile, Islamist Republic of Iran, Germany, Turkey according to the World Health Organization.

Globally, as of 12:54pm CEST, 21st June 2020, there have been over 8.7 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 461,715 deaths, reported to WHO.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people and those with underlying medical problems are more likely to develop serious illness.
