COVID-19 Update: 92 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On January 24

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 92 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 8,875 patients within 24 hours. 130 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 534,163 with 19,310 deaths and 512,331 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, Italy, Spain and Germany, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:06pm CET, 24 January 2022, there have been over 349 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.59 million deaths.
