
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.
The Ministry reported 3,391 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 27,158 patients within 24 hours. 3 patients have died due to the disease while 2,130 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 581,837 with 19,356 deaths and 530,847 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

Globally, as of 4:39pm CET, 25 February 2022, there have been over 430 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.92 million deaths.
