COVID-19 Update: 225 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On June 15

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 225 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Tuesday after testing 2,819 lab specimens within 24 hours.

135 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 146,051 with 133,104 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 33.14 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France, Turkey, Russian Federation, The United Kingdom, Italy, Argentina and Colombia according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:21 p.m. CEST on 15th of June 2021, there have been over 175.98 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.81 million deaths, reported to WHO.
