COVID-19 Update: 223 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On June 14

Ministry of Health and Sports reported 223 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Monday after testing 2,819 lab specimens within 24 hours.

4 COVID-19 positive patients lost their lives due to the disease while 41 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals. COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar have reached 145,826 with 3,248 deaths and, 132,969 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are United States of America with over 33.13 million confirmed cases followed by India, Brazil, France, Turkey, Russian Federation, The United Kingdom, Italy, Argentina and Spain according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:45 p.m. CEST on 14th of June 2021, there have been over 175.68 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 3.80 million deaths, reported to WHO.
