COVID-19 Update: 1,863 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On March 4

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported 1,863 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Friday after testing 25,564 patients within 24 hours. 4 patients have died due to the disease while 2,408 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 595,821 with 19,383 deaths and 544,056 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Germany, Turkey, Italy and Spain, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:18pm CET, 4 March 2022, there have been over 440 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.97 million deaths.
