COVID-19 Update: 1 new COVID-19 case reported on March 9

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.

The Ministry reported one new COVID-19 case at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 3,918 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 12 patients have recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar reached 633,950 and the death toll at 19,490 and the number of recovered patients is 614,438.
