COVID-19 prevention and control: Cambodia donates 1 million doses of Sinovac vaccine to Myanmar

1 million doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine and 1 million syringes donated by Cambodia to Myanmar arrived at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport by the special flight No. KR3763 on Friday.

The handover ceremony was held at the Nay Pyi Taw International Airport and at the event, Permanent Secretary of State Dr. Youk Sambath of the Ministry of Health of Cambodia handed over 1 million doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine and 1 million syringes that have been donated with the aim for friendly relations between the two countries to Deputy Minister for Health Dr Aye Tun who gave in turn the certificate of acknowledgement.

In the previous years, Cambodia donated medicines and medical equipment and cash to be used in COVID-19 prevention, treatment and control measures in Myanmar.
